The Neighborhood Revitalization Plan Tax Rebate (NRP) is open to residents and businesses owners who own properties located in the revitalization area (south of 11th Avenue). In order to incentivize investment in the revitalization area, the City and other taxing entities provide a rebate on the increase in property tax associated with a renovation, redevelopment or development project. Residential property owners are eligible for the program if they obtain a building permit for improvements that exceed $7,000. The assessed value of the property must also increase by a minimum of 5% to be approved. For more information about the program requirements and potential tax rebates, see the attached brochure.
